Lester Holtvoigt

HOLTVOIGT, Lester Edward age 85 passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Teresa Holtvoigt; wife, Ann Louise Holtvoigt; sister, Miriam Drake and brother, Robert Holtvoigt. Lester is survived by his loving children: Leslie (Robert) Martin, Jerome Holtvoigt, David (Mary) Holtvoigt, Mary (Steven) Frost and Lisa (Dennis) Brun, 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Madeleine (Wayne) Powell; brother, Frederic Holtvoigt; sister-in-law, Virginia Holtvoigt and numerous nieces and nephews. Dad worked with the B&O and CSX Railroads as a train engineer from 1945-1986. Trains were his passion and we will truly miss his exciting train stories. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave, Dayton. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 10th at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Dayton. Burial will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery.
