Linda Williams

Linda Louise Williams, age 81 of Kettering, OH passed away peacefully on October 22, 2024. Her loss will be deeply felt by her family as all the days of her life, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother (Gigi), and godmother. Linda was born in Youngstown, OH on December 4, 1942 to the late Daniel and Marianne Eberhart. She met, fell in love, and married her husband Roger, in November of 1963. Being a devout Roman Catholic, family was at the heart of Linda's life. She, alongside of Roger, lovingly raised three children, and she shared and cultivated in them the very faith that she so cherished. The years passed by quickly, and her family grew. Linda loved being a grandmother and a great grandmother. Countless joy-filled memories were made just being together. Linda had a very generous spirit, she was generous with her time in volunteering for many events and committees with her church, all in an effort to be helpful and to serve others. She also had many charitable causes that she would send support to as she wanted to help make a difference in the lives of others. It's important to also share that Linda was an enthusiastic lover of all animals. She fed the squirrels and two birds for many, many years. She enjoyed talking with them as well, beeping her car horn to warn any furry friend that might scurry into harms way. She had many fur-babies over the span of her lifetime. The last of these are Missy and Samantha who helped fill her days with much love and laughter these past 8 years. Linda is survived by her husband Roger Williams, her children Jeaneen Grismer (John), Barbara Mellenbruch (Kenneth), Daniel Williams (Sarah), grandchildren Joseph Mellenbruch (Briana), Aimee Hellkamp (John), Nicholas Mellenbruch, Kathryn MacDonald (Evan), Alexander Williams, Mackenzie Williams and Isabelle Williams, her great grandchildren Leo, Lily, Lucy, Oliver, and Emma. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Francis Church of Assisi, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45459, burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
