Lois Retter

RETTER, Lois Ann age 74, beloved wife and mother, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Daniel Patrick, her parents, Thomas and Erma Gilfoil and her brothers, Thomas and Richard Gilfoil. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, John Retter, and their children: Jeannine, Nancy (Burger), James, Mary and daughter-in-law, Annette; grandchildren: Ryan Burger and wife Michelle, Nick Burger and wife Dawn, Aaron Retter, Emily, Kathryn and Rebecca Burger and great-granddaughter, Tegan. Lois was a graduate of Julienne High School, class of 1955 and a homemaker. Her family and her faith meant everything to her. She was loving, kind and generous. She was a caretaker, comforter and best friend. Her cheerful personality and optimistic spirit will be profoundly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, August 29th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering 45440. Mass of Christian Burial will be, 10:30 a.m., Tuesday August 30th at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd, Kettering 45429
