Loretta "Ann" Mershad

MERSHAD, Loretta “Ann”, age 75 of Centerville passed away on February 10, 2018. She was born on February 10, 1943 and grew up in Ansonia, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late, Vitalis “Si” and Mary (Stemley) Barga. Ann is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Edmund Mershad; children, Lisa (Jeff) Nixon, Pamela (Dan) Marshek, Michelle Dakin; grandchildren, Sophia, Madison, Lauren; siblings, Ron (Doris) Barga, Dennis (Susanne) Barga, Keith (Kathie) Barga, Jeff (Terri) Barga, dear friend Nancy McLaughlin and many other extended family and friends. Ann worked as a teacher with Miamisburg Schools and St. Charles Borromeo Church, where she also served as Director of Religious Education for many years. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, February 15 from 5-7pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial is at 10:30 am on Friday, February 16 at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Ann will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude or The Hospice of Dayton.
