Louis Borders

BORDERS, LOUIS A., born May 7, 1938 in Louisville, KY died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his parents: Avery and Iva Borders; brothers: Richard, Gene, Doug, Giles and Edward Borders. Louis is survived by his wife, Betty; sons: Tim (Stephenie) and Lou (Shelia) Borders; step-son, Michael (Jenn) Franks and step-daughter, Judith (Ali) Atlagh; grandson, Nicholas; granddaughters: Elizabeth and Allison; six step grandchildren and brother, Paul and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Louis worked 23 years at McCalls and retired from Color Q Printing. He was a member of Lathren Senior Center, West Carrollton Senior Center and Moraine Senior Center where he enjoyed many great friendships while playing cards. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 27th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave Dayton. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 28th at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to: Hospice of Dayton.
