FISCHER, Lucille E. (Kastner), of Dayton, was embraced by God and his Angels on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at age 93. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, to the late John Kastner and Theresa A. (Plannerer) Kastner Brechtel, the youngest of 4 daughters. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Fischer, Sr., her son, Robert R. Fischer, Jr., sisters Helen Kastner and Irene Schommer. Lucille grew up in the Xenia Avenue area and attended St. Mary's Church and school. Before marriage, Lucille worked for Master Electric. After marriage, Lucille was a homemaker, raising her five children and enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, walking, gardening in her yard, attending mass and volunteering at St. Anthony of Padua, Dayton. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Leibold of Fayetteville, OH; son-in-law Dick Leibold of Kettering; sons and daughters-in-law: William and Donna of Vandalia, OH; Richard (Bud) and Julie of Troy, OH; Charlie and Ann of Ft. Wayne, IN. Also surviving is her sister, Sister Rosalie Kastner, CPPS, Salem Heights, Dayton; sisters-in-law Joan (Frank) Malje of Indiana and Sister Mary Margaret Fischer, Notre Dame, Cincinnati; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Thank you to the staff of 10 Wilmington Place, Dayton, for their care during the last few years and Hospice of the Miami Valley. Visitation: 4-7 PM Sunday, March 25, 2018, Westbrock Funeral Home, Wayne Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial: 10 AM, Monday, March 26, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua, Dayton followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.
