Lucille J. Neu

Neu, Lucille J., (nee Batter), age 97, of Centerville, passed away at home Friday May 11, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Neu; two sons, Denny and Nick; and sisters, Dorothy Marchal and Mary Ellen DelFavero. Mrs Neu is survived by her 11 daughters and sons, Susan, Bob (Marie), Tom (Shawna), Dianne (John), Jerry, Jim (Betty), Rick (Laura), Ted, Steve, Chris (Debbie), Scott; daughters in law, Janet, Helen and Jill; her sister, Adele O’Connell; 22 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren. After raising such a large family, she enjoyed painting, travel, gardening and volunteer work. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated Wednesday at 10:30am at St. Leonard Center Chapel. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-8pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
