Lydia Keys

Lydia M. Keys, age 88 of Centerville, OH passed away peacefully on August 12, 2024 at Kettering Hospital. She was born in Dayton, OH to the late Karl and Mary (Buecher) Stockert, received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and worked as an RN for St. Elizabeth Hospital for 35 years. Lydia loved to travel with her late husband, Irvin Keys, play golf and attend sporting events with her grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brothers Alfred (Virginia) Stockert, and Joe Stockert, sisters Gert (Tom) Clemens, Clara (John) Butchko, and Fran Adams. Lydia is survived by her daughter Catherine Keys, grandson Ronald (Amanda) Cornett, granddaughters Margaret and Erin Greer, great grandchildren Landon and Olivia, her brother Joseph (Marty) Stockert, sisters Rita (Ken) Normand, Mary (Dan) Shea and numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Mass of Christian Burial will on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 1:00pm at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Avenue Centerville, OH 45459, burial immediately following at Woodland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the St. Leonard or Church of the Incarnation.
