Molina, Manuel G., age 87, of Union, passed away Monday September 21, 2015, in Centerville. He was born on January 21, 1928 in Robstown, Texas and was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a longtime employee of Standard Register for 42 years during his working career. He was a member of the VFW of Union, American Legion and FOE of West Milton. After retirement, he enjoyed his yard work, gardening and visiting with family and friends. Manuel never knew a stranger and always brought joy and happiness to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by the many who knew and loved him. Manuel was preceded in death by his parents Tomas and Rebecca (Garza); three sisters Herminia, Hortencia, and Guadalupe and his three brothers Tomas, Moses, and Rodolfo. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Julia A; two daughters and sons-in-law, Darcel & Kevin Myers and Julia & Jeff Jones; two sons and daughters-in-law, Manuel & Marie Molina and Anthony & Amy Molina; five grandchildren, Kevin Myers, Brian & Katie Myers, Angela Jones , Caitlin Molina, and Tomas Molina; two-great grandchildren, Kayla and Karolyn Myers as well as numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a funeral service 10:00am Friday at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave, with Father Chris Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
