Marcia “Cindy” Jane Knab, 75, passed away on Saturday, August 5th. The viewing will be held at Emmanuel Catholic Church, 149 Franklin Street, Dayton, OH on Wednesday, August 9th starting at 9am with a mass to follow at 10am. A celebration of life and burial of ashes will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery.
Cindy was born in Dayton, Ohio to Edna Holderman and Vincent Weber on March 14, 1942. She attended St. Anthony Catholic School, Holy Angels and Julienne High School. Cindy is preceded in death by her mother, father, and two sisters (Marianna and Carole). Cindy is survived by her husband (Thomas), three children (John, Marsha and Anita), seven grandchildren (Jordan, Erica, Katie, Abigail, Lily, Thomas and Christian), her brother (Vincent) and many nieces and nephews.
Cindy was a kind, caring and compassionate Christian who loved the Lord, her family and friends with all her heart. This love shined bright everyday through her beautiful smile! She enjoyed gardening, sewing, playing the family card game “Peanuts” and dancing with, Tom, the love of her life of whom she was married to for 54 years! She was loved very much and will be missed dearly.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association Miami Valley Chapter, 31 W. Whipp Road, Dayton, OH 45459. Together we must continue to fight against this terrible disease that affects millions of loved ones and caregivers.
