Margaret Pohl

POHL, Margaret M. age 96, of Euclid and formerly of Dayton, passed away Sunday August 8, 2010. Mrs. Pohl, a graduate of Julienne High School, was an active member of Holy Trinity Church. There she was Past-President of the Altar Rosary Society for 25 years and sang in the Church Choir. She was also an Auxiliary Daughter of Charity, and a Past-President of the U.D. Mothers Club. Mrs. Pohl was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Pohl; a daughter, Shirley Pohl; a son, Andrew S. Pohl; a sister, Florence Crews, and a brother, Tom Schroll. She was the beloved mother of two daughters and sons-in-law, Judith Vogel & Bill, Sharon Freisinger & Jack; a son, Andrew J. Pohl; grandmother of 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am Saturday at Holy Trinity Church. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 4-8pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations to be made to the Slovene Home for the Aged (18621 Neff Road Cleveland, OH. 44119)
