Marguerite Tepe

Marguerite Elaine Tepe (Burkhardt, Weiland), age 88, of Kettering, OH, passed away at The Courtyard at Centerville on September 10, 2024.

Marguerite was a proud graduate of St. Joseph High School and retired from N/R Labs. She was an active member of the Church of the Ascension and the Here and There Garden Club.

Marguerite had a deep love for her family and cherished moments spent hosting, baking, sewing, and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her son, Bobby; her parents, John F. and Elizabeth A. Weiland; and her siblings, John Weiland, Barb Pohl, and Betty Ann Westendorf.

Marguerite is survived by her siblings Helen (Joe) Mott, Judy (Walter) Frederick, and Bill (Marcia) Weiland; her children Willy (Pam) Burkhardt, Dan (Cheryl) Burkhardt, and Lisa (Adam) Zengel; and her grandchildren Cole (Cordelia Orbach) Burkhardt, Maggie Burkhardt, Katelyn (Santiago) Jaramillo, Marissa Burkhardt, Bethany Burkhardt, Emily (Alex) Tittle, Amanda Zengel, and Sarah (Landen) Abdulhai. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Finley and Davis Tittle.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Incarnation on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 10:30AM, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate caregivers at The Courtyard at Centerville and Bella Care Hospice for their kindness and dedication.
