Marie T. Belt

BELT, Marie T., age 85 of Centerville passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016. She was born in Chicago, IL on June 30, 1931 to the late, John and Mary (Pasnick) Boruque. Also preceding her in death are siblings, Leonard Boruque and Geraldine Schmutzler. Marie is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Roger Belt; children, Thomas M. (Barbara) Belt, Timothy C. (Giuliane) Belt, Barbara J. (Richard) Niedbala; grandchildren, Michael & Melissa Belt, Nicholas Belt, Richard (Kelsey), Timothy, Elizabeth, Patrick, Andrew & Therese Niedbala and great-grandson, Michael Niedbala. Marie graduated from the University of Iowa with a BS degree in Pharmacy and a MS degree in Hospital Pharmacy. This is where she met and married Dr. Roger Belt. She started her career at the Cleveland Clinic then moved to Morristown, NJ in 1964. Marie enjoys art, music, reading and gardening. Friends and family may visit from 6-8 pm on Thursday, September 1 at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd, Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Friday, September 2 at Church of the Incarnation. Interment following in Calvary Cemetery.
