She married James A. on March 31, 1951 and embarked on a new career, raising 5 kids.Marie enjoyed life to the fullest and had interests in so many different things; from crafts, reading, cooking, antiques and collections-(owning an antique shop, The Leprechaun Cottage with best friend, Anita)-, to foreign language and travel- (our trips to Surfside Beach will not be the same without you)-, and of course being with her family and friends. Some of Mom's best friends through the years had 4 legs and slobbered, thus her little saying, "J'embrasse mon chien sur la bouche".Mom loved corresponding with everyone through the years, sending cards for every occasion with personal notes inside. Our mother always saw the best in everyone and lived by the saying "Love One Another."A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Church.
