SCHEBLO, Marilyn Ann (Taylor) age 77, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away on Monday November 9, 2009, at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Marilyn was born in Dayton , Ohio, on October 14, 1932 to Ralph A. and Zelma M. Taylor (Lauterbach). She graduated from Julienne High School in Dayton in 1950; volunteered for many years as a Girl Scout leader and at Greene Memorial Hospital; and retired from work as a case manager at Greene Hall in Xenia and Samaritan Hall in Dayton. Preceded in death by her mother and father, brothers Robert, Donald, and John Taylor, sister Joanne Caffrey, and former husband Edward Scheblo. Survived by one sister Connie (Jerry) Bolek of Centerville; 7 children: Rebecca (Warren) Kearney of Kettering, Susan (Chris) Zacharias of Kettering, Jennifer Minch of Yellow Springs, Joseph Scheblo, Tracy (Dr. Andrew) Turk of Naples, Florida, Scott Scheblo of Beavercreek, and Patricia (Scott) Sager of Kettering; 12 grandchildren, Jason (Julia), Mary, and David Jewell, Erin Zacharias, Luke, Ben, and Emily Minch, Matthew and Nicholas Turk, Jakob, Sierra, and Max Sager; and 3 great-grandchildren, Hannah and Charlotte Jewell, and Marley Minch; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. A memorial service and visitation will be held Thursday November 12 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. in Kettering. A Mass will take place Friday November 13 at 12:00 noon at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church at 3033 Far Hills Ave. in Kettering. A special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Kettering Memorial Hospital, especially Dr. Alejandro Calvo. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Marilyn's name
