Marjorie F. Pohl

Pohl, Marjorie F., age 80 of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, John A. and Magdalene Butkus; brother, John S. Butkus; brother-in-law, Richard Pohl. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Donald F. Pohl; daughters, Susan (Mark) Jordan of Beavercreek, OH, Margie (Bill) Isaacs of Dayton, OH; sons, Chris Pohl of Sidney, OH, Jim (Beth) Pohl of Hendersonville, NC, Tom (Rita) Pohl of Cincinnati, OH; eleven grandchildren, Abby and Kendall Jordan, Benjamin Pohl, Danielle (Aldolfo) Ortiz, Joyanna and Ivyrose Pohl, Christopher and Matthew Pohl, Olivia, Elena and Cecilia Pohl and four great grandchildren. Marjorie was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked as veterinarian assistant for 30 years and had a special place in her heart for all animals, especially cats. She was a 1953 graduate of Julienne High School and a member of St. Charles Church for 48 years. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Thank you to everyone who visited when Marjorie was too weak to get out. Visitation will be Sunday, February 7 from 2:00-6:00 pm at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, February 8 at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, envelopes available at the funeral home.
