Marvin Sease

Sease, Marvin B. age 90, passed away on April 21, 2010. He was born in Pitsburg, OH, close to Arcanum on December 4, 1919. His family moved t Dayton where he spent his childhood. Marvin graduated from Stivers High School, married Honey (Phyllis) Sparaco in 1942. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp and served in the Pacific during WWII. After returning home from the war he finished his toolmaker apprenticship at General Tool Co. He is survived by Honey Sease, his wife of 68 years, brother, True Sease, their tow children: son, Tim (Kim) Sease and daughter, Phyllis (Jerry) Rose, four grandchildren: Vicki Adams, Tony Rose, Tracy Behrens (Brian) & Sean Rose, and three great-grandchildren: Ashton and Micah Adams and Alex Behrens. Marvin retired from Universal Tool Co. in 1985. Marvin and Honey traveled extensively through the US with the Avion Trave Club. He was a founding member of Avion Palms, a private resort for Avion owners in Bowling Green, FL. His most treasured hobby was "The Farm" in southern Ohio. He and Honey owned "The Farm" for 15 years. Marvin was a man of his word. A handshake was his bond. Visitation will be 3:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday April 25th, at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. Funeral Liturgy will be held 9:30 a.m., Monday April 26 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike. Interment will be at the Dayton National Cemetery. Special thanks are extended to all of the Care Givers at the Dayton VA. They made his final days as comfortable as possible.
