BUEHRLE, Mary Y. (Teer) age 75, of Springboro, passed away Sunday June 2, 2013. She was born April 25, 1938 in Greenup County, KY. The daughter of the late Clarence and Niria Lowder. She is survived by her loving husband, David; sister, Nancy Berg; brother, Bill Lowder; niece, Pamela Denise Lowder Sharp and grand niece, Jennifer Miles. Mary served as the elected Clerk of Madison Twp. From 1989 to 1996, staying through 1997, commissioned with closing the books and shutting the township down. A Philanthropist, Mary supported many groups including Special Olympics, Wounded Warriors, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Vietnam Vets and many others. Mary Supported the College of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY. and helped many underprivileged mountain students obtain their college education. Mary was a life member of the NRA, and the Single Action Shooting Society. As a member of the OGCA and the Big Irons of Middletown, OH. "Mary Von" relished the shooting sports and traveling with her pard "No Name Cowboy" to Cowboy Action Shooting matches around the country. As a partner in, and also Head Teller of No Name Cowboy Artisan Beef Jerky, Mary was instrumental in setting up the books, developing her "Me and My Pal" pet Beef Bits and until too ill to do so, worked proudly at the family store helping David make and sell their beef jerky. David's daughter, Sarah and grandchildren, Marin and Charlotte were taken into Mary's heart as her own and her "grandbabies" brought her much joy. Mary so loved going to church, being outdoors, gardening, reading, music, arranging dried flowers, painting, and was an accomplished wedding gown designer. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of the Assisi Catholic Church, 6245 Wilmington Pk., Centerville on Tuesday, June 11 at 10:30 AM, preceded by a prayer vigil, 10:00 AM at the church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 Monday June 10 at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. in Kettering. Donations may be made to the Single Action shooting Society Scholarship Fund, Hospice of Dayton or a charity of your choice
