Mary C. Center

CENTER (nee BEACH) (OBERER), MARY C., age 86 of Centerville passed away peacefully Monday, July 21, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Center and a son, Raymond Oberer. Mary is survived by her son, Major Robert & Cheryl Oberer; daughters: Diane Dunning & Michael Kincaid and Dorothy Roush; step-children: John, Dawn, Judy and Donna Center. She was affectionately known as G.G. to her grandchildren: Matthew & Ryan Oberer, Stephanie & Matthew Tomlinson and Eric Rasnake and great-grandchildren: Carson and Avery Oberer and Ethan and Liam Tomlinson. Mary is also survived by her brother, Joseph & Celeste Beach, many loving nieces, nephews and beloved friends. She was in the 1st graduating class of Good Samaritan School of Nursing class of 1949. Mary was devoted to her Catholic Faith and was caring and loving to all she met. The family would like to thank the caregivers from St. Leonard’s, Bethany Lutheran Village and Hospice of Dayton for all their care and compassion given to Mary. Visitation will be Thursday, July 24th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 25th at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Road, Riverside. Burial will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
