Mary Eckert

ECKERT, Mary Imelda,(nee Nartker) age 91, of Centerville, passed away Sunday March 14th, 2010. Mrs Eckert was a lively and active member in the St Leonards community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank "Joseph S." Eckert; three sisters, Mildred Beck, Sister Mary Angela OSU (Clara), Angela Klosterman; and two brothers, Leo and Robert Nartker. Mrs Eckert is survived by her three daughters, Betty (Orest) Kohut, Virginia (Kenneth) Bruns, Margaret (Mark) Bierbaum; two sons, Bernard (Barbara) Eckert and Louis (Susan) Eckert; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; her sister, Bernadette Lee, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00am Wednesday at the St Leonards Center chapel. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road and Wednesday from 10:30am-11:00am at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to St Leonards.
