Mary Girard

GIRARD, MARY ELLEN (Huelsman), left this earth on Wednesday January 20, 2010, at age 73 from Hospice of Dayton after a lengthy illness. Born in Dayton, OH on April 4, 1936 to Arnold and Eleanor (Didier) Huelsman, she attended Julianne - St. Joseph Charter Schools. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Centerville. Mary Ellen is survived by her husband of 52 years, Thomas Girard, sons: Gregory, David (Shawn) and Kenneth (Fawn) Girard, grandchildren: Rachel, Kelsey, Brad, Michelle and one soon -to- be grandchild; and a great-grandchild, Riley. She is also survived by her sister, Kathleen (Leon) Gardem, brothers: Robert (Joyce) Huelsman and Norman (Carol) Huelsman. Preceding Mary Ellen were her parents, Arnold and Eleanor, brother, Conrand Hulesman and sister, Marlene Tipton. Visitation will be held Monday January 25th at 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Father Thomas Schmidt Celebrating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, after which lunch will be served at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton 45420.
