Mary Gross

GROSS, Mary Jane (nee Stolle) Age 76 of Dayton passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012. She is preceded in death by her brother, Ed Stolle. Mary Jane is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Gene; her mother Mary Stolle; and , children: Mike (Joanie) Gross, Anne (Thanh) Lai, Susan (Bob) Godfroid, and Mark (Colleen) Gross; her beloved grandchildren: Kevin, Catherine, Nick, Julia, Sabrina, John, Sammy, Tommy and Ava; and her sisters, Pat Wright and Cathy Fullerton. Mary Jane was born in Richmond, IN and graduated from the Good Samaritan (Dayton) school of nursing. She was committed to the nursing the profession and helping those who were poor and did not have access to resources. Mary Jane was active in the St. Leonard Faith Community, volunteered at the Samaritan Homeless Clinic, and enjoyed global travels as a part of Friendship Force. Visitation is 4-8pm on Friday Dec 21st at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd in Kettering, OH 45440. Mass of Christian Burial is on Saturday Dec 22nd, 10:30am, at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 8100 Clyo Road in Centerville, OH 45458 with lunch and fellowship immediately following.
