Keyes, Mary Katherine (Mrs. Mary Kay), died Sunday, April 26, after a brief illness while visiting family in Los Angeles, CA. Born May 13, 1925, eldest child of Denis F. & Agnes (Agnew) Cashman. Mrs. Keyes, a lifelong Dayton resident, graduated from Julienne High School in 1943. She married John C. (Jack) Keyes in 1945. Together they shared 67 years of marriage and 7 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and by her brother, Vincent J. Cashman.  Mrs. Keyes is survived by her loving children, Theresa [Tess] (Mrs. James) Servaites of Englewood, OH; Mary  [Mickey] (Mrs. Michael) Zimmer of San Pedro, CA; Alice (Mrs. Michael) Bowhay of Pacific Grove, CA; Carol (Mrs. Mark) Castor of St. Ignatius, Montana; Denis W. of Charleston, SC; David C. (Irene) of San Rafael, CA; and, Noreen (Mrs. Miguel Fernandez) Keyes of Redondo Beach, CA. Mrs. Keyes was also greatly loved by her 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Agnes [Trishey] Locke of Mt. Pleasant, MI, and numerous loving nieces and nephews. An avid bridge player, Mrs. Keyes was also a member of the Christ Child Society from 1950 to 1965. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 310 Allen St. (at Xenia Avenue, 45410) on Wednesday, May 13, at 10:30 AM. The family will receive friends at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Avenue, on Tuesday, May 12, from 4 to 7 PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital Charity, or Hospice of Dayton.
