MEYRING, Mary B. (Mae) (Marietta, Beers) born January 24, 1913 and passed away Friday Novemeber 21, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. (Mike) Meyring June 6, 1978. Mary is survived by her children, Carol (John) Prikkel, Judy (Dennis) Pope, Mike (Brenda) Meyring; seven grandchildren, Susan Pope (Dave Siders), David Pope (Betsy Siferd), Sandra Prikkel, Debra Prikkel, John (Kelly) Prikkel IV, Dr. Patrick (Jennifer) Prikkel, Theresa Prikkel; six great grandchildren, Nathan, Paige, Jacob, Connor, Samantha and Kira. Mary graduated from Julianne HS in 1931. She and Mike were married September 9, 1943. She was a charter member of Queen of Martyrs Church, a member of Queen of Martyrs Young at Heart and the Vandalia Senior Center. Mary enjoyed volunteering for some years at the Stillwater and King Tree Nursing Home, sewing for the residents. She also volunteered several years in the office of the Dayton chapter of the Red Cross. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 am Tuesday, November 25 at Queen of Martyrs Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 am at the church. Burial, Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Mary's name to Queen of Martyrs Church, envelopes will be available at the church.
