Mary Plassenthal

PLASSENTHAL, Mary Kay (Rindler) 86, died on July 27, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Loretta Rindler, her loving husband Victor and granddaughter Kristie. She was also preceded in death by sisters Juanita Schlorman, Joan Berry, Phyllis Hull, and brothers Tom Rindler and Gary Rindler. She is survived by two sons, Gerald (Ann) and John (Lorrie); daughters Kathy (Bill) Ravestein, Marcia Donohoo, and Janis (Ray) Warne, thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Surviving sisters are Della Mae Cox, Barbara (Buck) Mangen, Doris (Bernie) Phlipot, Wanda Plassenthal; brothers, Paul (Doris) Rindler, Robert (Betty) Rindler; numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Good Samaritan School of Nursing class of 1945 and a long-time active member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. She was involved in numerous charities and civic organizations. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM Saturday July 31 at Our Lady of Mercy Church. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Burial, Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Saint Vincent de Paul, envelopes available at the funeral home.
