Mary Schlemann

Schlemann, Mary V., age 93, of Kettering, passed away Sunday August 12, 2012. Mrs Schlemann was a graduate of Julienne High School. She enjoyed singing in the choirs at Assumption Catholic Church then at Emmanuel Catholic Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2009, Howard P. Schlemann; a daughter, Ann Virginia Schlemann Kender; and her two sisters, Ruth Ahlers and Marcella Nosil. She is survived by her son, Richard P. Schlemann; four grandchildren, Brian (Valerie) Schlemann, Tracy D. (Matt) Stanley; Alexander P. (Mandie) Kender; Andrew Kender; four great-grandchildren, McKenzie Stanley, Emma Schlemann, Jordan Stanley, Ryan Schlemann; her brother, Allen Ahlers; and many loving nieces and nephews. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 9:30am Thursday at Emmanuel Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. and again Thursday from 9-9:30am at the Church prior to Mass.
