Michael Cushing

CUSHING, MICHAEL J., age 61, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009. He was born in Cincinnati in 1948 to Paul and Catherine (Hagedorn) Cushing. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul and his sister, Carol Sparkie. Mike is survived by his mother, Catherine, brothers: Bob (June) Cushing and Jim (Karen) Cushing and numerous nieces and nephews. Mike was a graduate of Elder High School, The University of Cincinnati and the Air Force Institute of Technology. He retired from WPAFB in 2007 after 33 years of service. Mike was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. He is a member of American Legion Post 598 and V.F.W. Post 8312. The family will receive friends Monday, December 28th from 11:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 NOON at St. Albert the Great Church, 3033 Far Hills Avenue, Kettering 45429. In lieu of flowers, the family please asks that memorial contributions be made to Dayton VA Hospice, 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428.
