Dabbelt, Michael A. 75, of Kettering, passed away on April 28th, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 30th, 2018, at 1:00 pm at LifePointe Church, 4555 Marshall Rd. Kettering, OH. Visitation will be prior to service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Burial will follow at David's Cemetary. Arrangements are by the Westbrock Funeral Home, Bigger Rd.
Michael was born in Kettering, to William and Olivia Dabbelt on December 24th, 1942. He married Teresa Giallombardo on October 16th, 1964, in Dayton, OH. Blessed with four beautiful children, and eleven grandchildren. Michael, (Tammy)Dabbelt. Olivia (Ronald)Meaden. Joseph (Julie) Dabbelt. Jacob (Angi) Dabbelt. Grandchildren; Daniel Meaden Michael Dabbelt, Nathaniel Meaden, Zachary Meaden, Ashley Dabbelt, Nicholas Dabbelt, Megan Dabbelt, Olivia Dabbelt, Mialee Dabbelt, Matthew Dabbelt Samuel Dabbelt. He is proceeded in death by his father William, mother Olivia, father-in-law Steve Giallombardo, mother-in-law Maxine Giallombardo, brother William (Rosemary) Dabbelt, sister Donna (Bob) Stoffregen, brother-in-laws Dick Olivier and Thomas Hamlin, niece Gayle Stoffregen, nephews Joey Sharpe and Arnie Fitzgerald, and niece Linda Dabbelt.
Survived by sisters Shirley Hamlin, Wanda Olivier, Judy (Ron) Kalong, and brother Gene (Elaine) Dabbelt. Also survived by sister-in-laws, Andrea (Patrick) Fitzgerald, Gina (Dave) Palmisano, Paula (Chris) Eifert, Lori (Jim) Sharpe, and brother-in-laws, Steve Giallombardo, Dan (Nancy) Giallombardo, Jim (Leslie) Giallombardo, Nick (Whitney) Giallombardo, and many nieces and nephews.
Michael was a loving husband, devoted father, and great friend to many who knew him. He enjoyed all sports, hunting, and playing cards. He was known as a role model, and father figure to many neighborhood kids. He also loved watching his grand-children's sporting events. He spent 3 years, in the army, serving over seas, in Germany. He left a legacy of generocity and service. He was a faithful member of Christ Life Sanctuary/LifePointe Church. The family would like to extend their thanks to Kettering Memorial Hospital's MICU staff and clergy and Hospice of Dayton.
