Michael J. De Bard

DE BARD, Michael J., age 64 of Bellbrook, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2017. He was born in Dayton, Ohio to Dr. Richard and Joella De Bard on Jan 27, 1953.

He is survived by his loving wife Ann; mother Joella De Bard; sons Shaun and Keith, daughter Lauren (Jeff) Kaprelian, grandchildren Myles De Bard and Sophie and Ellie Kaprelian. Also survived by his brother Dr. Mark (Linda) DeBard, sister Francee De Bard, and his beloved dog Chelsea. He was preceded in death by his father Dr. Richard De Bard, infant brother Matthew, and infant daughter Renee.

Mike was a warm and caring man who loved his family and friends. He served in the U.S. Air Force and loved camping, fishing, and hunting. He was a Computer Systems Engineer at WPAFB.

Family will receive friends at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering, Sunday 2-6pm. Mass of Christian burial will be by Fr. James Manning at Ascension Catholic Church on Monday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to either Hospice of Dayton or the National Pancreas Foundation.
