Mildred Irene Foster

Foster, Mildred Irene, age 90, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away Monday September 4th, 2017. She was born July 9, 1927, in Oneida, Tennessee. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Dorcia Wilburn Foster; parents, Gason and Ruby Marcum; and a sister, Ora M. Suhar. She is survived by a sister, Gloria June Daniel of Oneida, TN.; a son, Gary Don Foster of Townsend, Tennessee; daughters, Jo Ann Amburgey of Crystal Lake, IL., and Debra Kay Fry (David) of Kettering, OH.; grandchildren, Brigit Amburgey (Mike), Nieka Fink (Scott), Codie Becker (Jeremy), Kirk Amburgey (Eunice), Jewl Amburgey, Dara Lehr (PJ), Brent Lackey (Krista), Elisabeth Crone (Travis); 13 great-grandchildren; a nephew, Mike Suhar of Centerville, OH., as well as many other dear friends and relatives. She retired from General Motors where she was a faithful employee for 40 plus years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kettering. Mildred was a loving and giving mother who found joy with her family, friends and her Savior Jesus Christ. The family will receive friends Friday September 8th from 5-8pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road in Kettering. Funeral Services and burial will be in Oneida, Tennessee on Saturday September 9th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice.
