Mildred Mulhern

As the bells of St. Leonard's gently tolled, Mildred Mulhern peacefully went home to be with her Lord. Mildred, "Aunt Millie", was born October 12, 1918 to Joseph and Elizabeth Wolf who preceded her in death along with her brothers, Robert, Raymond and Edward. Her loving husband, Joseph Mulhern, also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Krueper (Mulhern), grand-children, Robert Krueper, Karen McDonald Krueper and Joseph (Kim) Krueper, along with great grandchildren, Megan, McDonald and Zak Krueper. She is also survived by her niece, Carol Volk and her husband, Robert, niece Suzi McCabe, nephew Chris Wolf, along with many other family members and friends who loved her dearly. Mildred Mulhern graduated from Julienne High School. She was a graduate of St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing and then dedicated her life to nursing. She and her husband, Joe, spent many happy years together loving life and traveling the world. "Aunt Millie" was a faithful woman of God and we who love her will greatly miss her ever present smile and gentle heart. A special thanks to all of her many friends and neighbors at St. Leonard's who watched over her. The family would like to thank Home Instead Care, Vitas Hospice and the staff of St. Leonard's for their vigilant attention and love for Aunt Millie. They would also like to gratefully acknowledge the compassionate care of Dr. Gregg Volk as her Hospice physician. A funeral mass at St. Leonard's will be held Tuesday, February 28, at 10:30 a.m., with a viewing at St. Leonard's at 9:30 before the service.
