Miriam Kathryn Schoening

Miriam K. Schoening (Short), age 86 of Sun City Center, Florida, formerly of Centerville, Ohio,
passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017. Miriam was born in Piqua, Ohio on November 12, 1930.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Schoening; mother, K. Estella Short (O'Shay)
and a son, Mark R. Schoening. She is survived by her son and daughter, Michael A. Schoening (Diane) of Bellbrook, Ohio, Diane Schoening Fischer (Jeff) of Apollo Beach, Florida and sister, Joan Ehmer of Fredricksburg, Virginia; grandchildren, Larry Riggs, Kristine Fischer Coyer (Rick),
Robert Fischer (Stephanie), Brian Schoening, Lauren Fischer Collins (James); 7 great grandchildren; special nieces and nephew Beverly Cicioni, Linda Sterner (Denny) and George Coffroad and other family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, July 28th, from 12 pm - 1 pm at
David's Cemetery Chapel, 4600 Mad River Road Kettering, immediately followed by service and interment.(Chapel is in front of gazebo and behind the mausoleum) In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
