Nancy Fletcher

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy A. Fletcher, a beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted friend, who departed this world peacefully on April 22, 2025, at the age of 87. Born in Dayton, Ohio, Nancy filled the lives of those around her with kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love. Nancy dedicated many years of her life to education as a Teacher's Aid, making a profound impact on the students she worked with and shaping the futures of countless young minds. Her gentle spirit and unyielding support were a balm to many, and her legacy will live on in the lessons she imparted and the love she shared. Preceded in death by her loving husband Richard, as well as her parents, Frederick Sr. and Alma (Bruggeman) Brun, and her brother Fred Brun, Nancy's family was her greatest treasure. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Sharon Liebherr, and her son and daughter-in-law, Richard (Vanessa) Fletcher. Nancy was a proud grandmother to Jeremy Liebherr and Ashley Fletcher, and her love extended to her cherished nieces and nephews: Sue (Greg) Soto, Barb (Mike) Mitchell, Patty (John) Nicholas, Becky (Jonathan) Graca, Carl (Karla) Brun, Bob (Alexis) Brun, and Steve (Pam) Brun. Nancy will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and the light she brought into the lives of all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. 

A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 28 at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Dayton, allowing all who loved her to come together to celebrate her life. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM, offering an opportunity for loved ones to share their condolences and support one another during this difficult time. Nancy will then be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Hospice of Dayton.

 Nancy A. Fletcher will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
