Nancy Lee Harker, 80 years old of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 12, 2015, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born in Adams County, Ohio on July 19, 1935. Nancy was a graduate of Fairview High School class of 1953. She was an avid square dancer and was a member of the Gem City Squares dance club for many years. She was an excellent seamstress, and made most of her beautiful dancing outfits among many other things. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother (Mimi) and Friend, and was loved by all. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Carroll and Jessie(McGovney)Carroll, and her daughter Angela (Harker)Baum. She is survived by her loyal and loving husband of 60 years, Thomas R. Harker Sr., 3 sons, 2 daughters and their spouses: Thomas Harker Jr. & Karen(Petitti) Harker, Theodore Harker & Andrea(Goin)Harker, Joseph Harker, Rebecca(Harker) Weinland & Craig Weinland and Karen(Harker)Turner. She is also survived by her only sister, Helen(Carroll)Voge and brother in law,William Voge, 24 beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, lifelong, best friend Barbara(Yancy)Weinland and a host of other family members. Family will greet friends on Thursday December 17, from 4:00-8:00 at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave., Dayton, OH. Funeral services will be held at Westbrock Funeral home on Friday December 18 at 11:00 A.M., followed by Christian burial at Calvary Cemetery.
