Nicole Segda

Beloved wife, mother and daughter, Nicole A. Segda, age 38 of Dayton passed away on Sunday June 30, 2024.  

Nicole was a dual member of Colorado Avenue Baptist Church and CrossRoads Baptist church (Columbus). Was an alumni of Ohio State University and formerly employed by Johnson Controls.  She was also a published author, "The Legend of Ilia" and a member of Dayton Martial Arts Center where she held a second degree black belt in judo and a blue belt in jukado.  

Nicole is survived by her husband Greg, their daughter Eleyna, her parents Christopher and Adelina Brown, her grandmother Esther Godfrey and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and sisters and brothers in Christ. Preceded in death by sister Kyrsten Paige Brown, grandfathers Edward Brown and Harold Godfrey, grandmother Betty Brown, and great grandma, Nanay (Rosalia Solomon).

Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Friday, July 5th at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave Dayton OH 45410.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Friday from 10:00-12:00pm, burial to follow at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn.
