Davis, Mrs. Ollie, of Beavercreek, was born on June 22, 1920, in Laurel County, Kentucky. She went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ early Tuesday morning, March 5, at the age of 92. Ollie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Hannah Allen, as well as her husband, Elmer Davis. She also was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruby, Mary Gladys, Inez; and her brothers, Charles, George, and Warren. Ollie leaves to mourn her passing numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Davis attended Cumberland College as well as the University of Dayton. She had a love of gardening. She was the first woman realtor in the Dayton area. Mrs. Davis was a faithful member of the Bible Baptist Church in Dayton. Ollie was a committed supporter of Christian education throughout her life. In her later years, Ollie gave sacrificially to the construction of health care facilities in Greene County. Funeral services will be Friday March 8, at 10:00am in the chapel in the Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may gather in the chapel for a viewing one hour before the service. Pastor Randall Townsend officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
