Paek Hyon Chong

CHONG, Paek Hyon, age 82 of West Chester passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018. Paek was born on February 1, 1936 in South Korea to the late, Po Hwan Chong and Chong Won Yi. He is survived by his loving wife, Mal Nam Chong (Kim); sons, Young-Jin Jung (wife, Jiah Oh Jung), Young-Chon Jung (wife, Jennifer), Kevin Young-Lim Jung(wife, Chloe Kookhee Jung); grandchildren, Jung Ji-Eun, Jung Moon-Shig, Jung Yuen-Hwa, Jung Lex (Wushig) and step-grandson, Jared Adams. Paek moved to the U.S. in 1979 and retired from the University of Dayton. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 am-12:30 pm on Thursday, November 29 at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45410. A funeral service will begin at 12:30 on Thursday. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton.
