Patricia M. Sauer

Sauer, Patricia M., passed away Sunday June 28, 2015. She was born October 28,
1938 to Henry and Ida (Gels) Borgerding in New Weston, Ohio. On September 30,
1961, Patricia was married to John C. Sauer and they were married 49 years. Pat
was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish, and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW
Post 9927. She was a retired hair dresser and was also an advocate for
veterans. Pat was always very involved in her children’s lives and continued
that involvement with her grandchildren’s lives. Pat enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her most treasured moments were playing games and sharing stories with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her parents, Henry & Ida Borgerding; her husband, John C. Sauer; siblings, John,
Daniel, Eugene, Robert, Joseph, Henrietta, Joan, Virginia, James and Richard;
in-laws, Jerry Grieshop, Bill Glass, Jean Borgerding, Ken Grimberg; nephews and
niece, Ed and Terry Borgerding, Gary Wendel, Cindy Link, Tom and Don Grieshop.
Pat is survived by three daughters, Jackie (Mark) Domin, Jerri (Dave) Chaney,
Jenni (Bill) Crotty; grandchildren, Eric, Cory, and Ryan Domin; Lucas and
Alison Chaney; Erin, Sara and Abby Crotty; her sisters, Norma Grieshop, Marie
Glass; brothers, Mike (Marilyn) Borgerding, Harold Borgerding; in-laws, Ramona
Borgerding, Elmer Wendel, Marilyn Borgerding; numerous nieces and nephews and
many friends. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am Thursday July
2nd at St Charles Borromeo Church, Kettering Ohio. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8pm at The Westbrock Funeral
Home, 5980 Bigger Road in Kettering, and again Thursday from 10-11am at the
Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of
VFW Post 9927.
