Phyllis "Jean" Roof

ROOF, PHYLLIS "Jean", age 82 of Dayton passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Walnut Creek Nursing Home. She was born on January 28, 1935 in Troy, OH to the late Richard F. and Norma Jean (Waters) Brush. Also preceding her in death is her sister, Carolyn Sherwood. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Harold; children, Elizabeth Smail of PA, Mark Roof and David Roof, both of Dayton, Phillip (Mimi O’Brien) Roof of NC; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Fred (Joyce) Brush, Gary (Wanda) Brush and many other extended family and friends. Jean was a school teacher. There will be a graveside service at 12:00 pm on Friday, August 25 at Forrest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Westbrock Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
