R. Peter Finke

FINKE, R. Peter Francis age 76 of Oakwood passed away Monday, April 21, 2014. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Harry F. Finke, Sr., Hildegarde (Elsbernd) Finke; sisters, Dorothy L. Westbrock, Janet I. Russell; and brother, Robert J. Finke, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Judith L.; daughters, Rachel (Michael) Chambers of Cincinnati, Sarah E. Finke of Connecticut, Kathleen S. Finke of Illinois; son, Richard P. (Mercedes San Roman) of Tunisia; brothers and sisters, Mary Ann Henz, Ruth H. (Peter) King, Harry F. (Carol), Martha L. Faulhaber of Illinois, John E. (Sue) of Cincinnati, Suzanne M. (Robert) Schiller; and grandchildren, Mercedes and Santiago Finke San Roman, and Michael Chambers. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 26th at Holy Angels Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Avenue. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Social Services of Dayton.
