Ralph J. Lehmann

LEHMANN, Ralph J., age 80 of Wilmington passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 21, 1940 to the late, Joseph and Rosalind (Wilkie) Lehmann. Also preceding him in death is daughter, Jill (2007); siblings, Rosalind Goubeaux, Agnes Elder, George Lehmann and Ruth Lehmann. Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Diane (Wirick); children, David (Shari) Lehmann, Joan Breh, Susan (Bill) Wilkins, Nancy (Jeff) Laymon, Thomas (Michelle) Lehmann and Daniel Lehmann; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Michelle, Alex, Ben, Lauren, Julia, Christopher, Charlie, Henry, Drew, Emily and Jack; siblings, Joseph Lehmann, Dorothy Scheu, Larry Lehmann, Mary Lehmann, Cathy Cooper, Monica Wirick, Patty Foresta and Virginia Matis and many other extended family and friends. He was a graduate of Chaminade class of 59’ and retired from the Post Office after 25 years of service. Ralph loved the game of tennis, was an avid sports fan, especially of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He always enjoyed watching his grandchildren, who he dearly loved and was proud of, play sports. The family will miss Ralph’s prayers. Friends and family may visit from 10am-11am on Monday, December 28 at Saint Columbkille Catholic Church, 73 N. Mulberry St. Wilmington, OH 45177 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Ralph will then be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Sister of St Francis, 22143 Main St. Oldenburg, IN 47036.
