Regina Stephens

Stephens, Gina L. (nee Casella), age 39, died at home after a 7 month struggle with pancreatic cancer. Gina was born in Dayton, OH on Feb. 15, 1971 to Eugene and Annette Casella with older sister Carla Casella Hodulik and followed by younger sister Maria Casella Russell. She attended Holy Angels grade school and Archbishop Alter High School. She is survived by her loving husband John Stephens; two beautiful daughters Veronica (Nica), 9 yrs, and Cecilia (Ceci), 6 yrs, as well as 3 dogs, 2 cats and a fish. She is also survived by her parents; sisters, Carla Casella Hodulik, her husband John, and their children Jed, Paul & Charlie; Maria Casella Russell, her husband Vince, and their children Vivian, Vito, and Josephine; her mother and father-in-law, Tom & Carole Stephens; a brother-in-law Greg Stephens, his wife Laura, and their children Matthew, Brian and Samantha; and numerous other family members and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Monday May 17th at 12 noon at St. Albert the Great Church. The family will receive friends from 9-11am at the Church. Gina enjoyed making people happy, holidays with her extended Italian family, running barefoot, relaxing vacations at the beach, spending time with her children (and everybody else's), and living life fully. She is a blessing to all that knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Albert the Great School or to Hospice of Dayton.
