Rhea F. Iacovone

Iacovone, Rhea F.(Fitzgerald), age 93 of Washington Twp. passed away peacefully at Hospice on Tuesday April 19 . Rhea was born August 14, 1922 in Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband Patrick, parents Thomas and Mary, sister Patricia and brothers Donald and Louis. Also mother and father in-law Michaelangelo and Josephine and brothers-in law Joseph and Howard. She is survived by 4 children, Barbara (Craig) Goines, Michael (Stephanie) Iacovone, John (Anne) Iacovone and Karen Iacovone, 10 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Rhea was a native Daytonian. She retired from Third National Bank to care for her grandchildren. She supported her husband’s participation in the Knights of Columbus and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. The family would like to send special thanks to her caregivers: DeeDee, Abbey and Faye.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, April 25th at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Avenue. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 26th at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Kettering, Ohio. Interment to follow at Miami Valley Gardens in Centerville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity in Rhea’s name.
