Richard Danielson

DANIELSON, Richard E. age 84 of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011. He was born January 21, 1927 in Clinton, Iowa. He attended Clinton High School and Clinton Community College, graduating with an Associate Degree. Richard served in the US Army Military Police from 1950-1952. He was employed at Allied Structural Steel Company in Clinton, Iowa for over 30 years. Through his lifetime he worked many different jobs, always providing for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Durelle; sons, David of California, Dale of Kettering and a daughter, Debra Miller of Dayton. He is also survived by 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and one great grandson. The family will receive friends at the Westbrock Funeral home, 5980 Bigger Rd. from 5:00-8:00 PM Monday, November 28. The service will be private. Entombment, Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Richard enjoyed fishing and nature. He was an extremely proud father and grandfather. Family meant more to him than anything else in life. The love he has given will be surely passed on and shared by the family he leaves behind.
