WAGNER, Richard W. age 87, of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, Oct. 26 with his family by his side. He was born on April 3, 1925 to Olivia and Harry Wagner. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother and three sisters, Mary Noonan, Leona Planner and Helen Heckman. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Mary Lou Kramer, his sister Celeste (Joe) Beach, R. Ann Wagner, mother of his children, Stephen Wagner (Krystyna) of Cincinnati, Kathleen Dom (Paul) of Liberty Township, Daniel Wagner (Suzi) of Bowling Green, Robert Wagner ( Abby) of Oakwood, and his grandchildren, Hannah, Danielle, Robbie, Aubrey, Stacey, Andrea and Garret, Reggie and Debbie.. He is also survived by Mary Lou's children Kris (Rick) Hutchinson, Karen (Jeff Fiely) Kramer, Kathy (Mike) Hill, John (Margaret) Kramer, Kelley (Bobby) Kramermardis, Karol (Keith Nelson) Martin and her 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Dick graduated from Patterson-Co-op High School and was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army at Panama Canal. He spent the majority of his professional life at Printing Service Company, first in the plant operations and later in sales retiring in 1988. He enjoyed the company of many friends including those of the Weveaweave Club, his golfing buddies, stock club friends and Beavercreek neighbors. He also enjoyed traveling and was proud to have visited 47 US states. Dick was an accomplished pastel artist having won numerous awards for his work. The family wishes to thank the staffs at Lincoln Park Manor, Trinity Retirement Center and Hospice of Dayton for their extraordinary compassion and care. Dick was a founding member of the Queen of Apostles Catholic Church at 4400 E. Patterson Rd. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral Mass at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 31 with Rev. Chris Conlon and Rev. Terry Schneider celebrating. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Queen of Apostles Community.
