Richard Weinman

WEINMAN, Richard S. age 75, passed away after a long illness, December 24, 2009, in Florida, at The Villages. Dick was a proud member of the University of Michigan Marching Band. He later transferred to Michigan State University where he received a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in accounting. He retired as a Captain from the U.S. Army. Mr. Weinman enjoyed a long career as a CPA and partner with Battelle & Battelle, retiring in 1996. He was preceded in death by his parents, Judge Carl A. and Elaine Weinman (Scherer); his sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Kenneth Snow. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna (Bailey); a daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and Gerard Murphy of Norton, MA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Douglas B. and Arlette Weinman (Ciabattari) of Miami, FL, and Charles R. and Amy Weinman (Roberts) of Springboro; five grandchildren, Matthew Murphy, Tyler Weinman, Amanda Murphy, Andrew Weinman and Sarah Weinman. Private funeral services were held for the family. In remembrance, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
