Moorman, Rita E. (Neder), age 88 of Dayton, Passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Rita was a volunteer receptionist at Immaculate Conception Church where she began a heath care ministry and where she was also a promoter of the parish's participation in the Dayton Dialogue on Race Relations. She was active in the parish's girls' athletic programs for years, a past president of the parish council and the Dayton Catholic Women's Club. She was also a tutor for the Dayton Literacy Council. Rita was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward J. Neder in 1963 and her second husband, Robert G. Moorman in 1991. She is survived by four daughters and their husbands, Marybeth and Michael Williams of Kettering, Ellen Alexander of Mason, Lou Ann and Mark Zimmerman of NC, Janet and Nick Yahle of Bellbrook; eleven grandchildren, Michelle Williams Sharp of Kettering, Brandon Williams of Washington Twp., Brian Williams of HI, Matthew Alexander of NC, Andrew Alexander of Mason, Daniel Alexander, Cincinnati, Scot Zimmerman, Kristen Zimmerman Williams, Lauren Zimmerman all of NC, Natalie Yahle of MO, Nathan Yahle of Bellbrook and four great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 AM, Saturday, October 17 at the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, preceded by a prayer service 9:00 AM at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. The family will receive friends, Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial, Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, envelopes available at the funeral home.
