Robert D. Fremgen

Fremgen, Robert D., age 92 of Kettering passed away Monday, February 27, 2017. Robert was a member of the American Chemical Society for over 60 years, a UD Golden Flyer, graduate from Hamilton Catholic High School in 1942 and UD in 1951. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean in 2010 and a daughter, Mary Schulz in 2010. Robert is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth (Dave) Girouard of Centerville, Susan (Jim) Bowman of Bellbrook; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dave (Carol) Fremgen of Mason, Tom Fremgen of Miamisburg; seven grandchildren, Jenny, Ryan Schulz, Matt, Emily, Danny Girouard, Kevin and Andrew Bowman. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 3 at St. Charles Borromeo Church. The family will receive friends 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. Burial, Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
