SEDERSTRAND, ROBERT J., age 45, formerly of Washington Township, OH passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 at his home in Syracuse, NY after a six month struggle with colon cancer. God blessed us all on his birth, January 14, 1967 in Kankakee, IL. He is survived by his spouse, Amanda (Cornish) Sederstrand and his precious daughter, Glory James, born July 25, 2012, Syracuse, NY, his former spouse, Erin Sims and their beloved daughter, Samantha Sederstrand of West Chester, PA, parents: Jack and Carol Sederstrand, Washington Township, siblings: Jill (Mike) Sandman, Morrow, OH, Thomas (Emily) Sederstrand, Ballston Lake, NY and David (Chelsea) Sederstrand, Vandalia, OH. Bob was blessed with seven nieces and nephews: Johnathan & Jacob Sandman, Charlotte, Josephine, Owen, Anthony Jack and Nathan Sederstrand, aunts: Cathie (Clarence) Miedema, Bourbonnais, IL and Mary Langellier, Heyworth, IL, uncles: Jim Mulligan, Bradley, IL and Mike (Ronda) Mulligan, Bourbonnais, IL, cousins: Christine Bergan, Madison, WI, Ashley Mulligan, Chicago, IL, Matt and David Mulligan, Champaign, IL, Lisa (Kevin) McGill, Crete, IL, Lori (Jim) Wampler, Eau Claire, WI and Mark (Tori) Langellier, Heyworth, IL. Bob was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Clifford Sederstrand, Elaine & Glenn Mulligan, Bradley, IL, maternal grandparents: Bernadette & Edward Volk, Kankakee, IL and Uncle, Jim Volk, Darien, IL. Bob graduated from Centerville High School and attended Wright State University. He had the privilege of becoming the first "Rowdy Raider" Mascot and received his degree in Telecommunications from Ohio University in Athens, OH. Bob's career in telecommunications with MCI Communications: MSC Telecom: Comcast Business Class: Time Warner Business Class and USA Datanet a division of WVT Communications touched many lives. A Memorial Mass and Gathering will be celebrated, Saturday, August 18th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Centerville, OH with the Rev. Thomas Schmidt, Celebrant.
