Robert Reynolds

Robert L. Reynolds, known by his friends as Bob, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the age of 86. Born and raised in the Dayton area, Bob served in the Navy during the Korean War. He worked for the Sheffield Corporation for over 40 years where he retired as an engineer in 1989. Bob was an avid golfer and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also a faithful follower of Notre Dame Football and the UD Flyers and was a member of the American Legion Post 598. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Millie (Hazelwood) and his children, Cindy (Matt) Deppen, Pat (Polly) Reynolds, Kelly (Chris) LaDue and Tracy (Hammond). Bob will also be fondly remembered by his 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 22 at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering Ohio from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial for Bob will be held on Friday, February 23 at 10:30 a.m. at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Avenue, Centerville, Ohio, where Bob was a devoted member. He will then be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
